PROPERTY DESCRIPTION:
Ours is the most spacious floor plan at Hali’i Kai with 1677 square feet (1930 square feet if the two lanai’s are included). This is a two-story Townhome with the entrance on the second floor. Our three bedrooms are well separated for privacy (1 downstairs and 2 upstairs), three bathrooms, an open concept great room with living room, dining area, kitchen and two covered lanais, one on each floor.
The gourmet kitchen is finished with tiled back-splash, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and African mahogany cabinets. The kitchen opens up to the dining and living area, making the space ideal for cooking and conversing. There are 3 bar stools at the kitchen counter and a dining table that seats six. The outdoor lanai off the dining room has an additional table for four and a gas BBQ.
The great room is furnished with an extremely comfortable L-shaped couch, a large chair, and a TV with a Bose Bluetooth sound system.
The upstairs master boasts a king-sized bed and its own private lanai with two chaise lounges. The ensuite master bath has dual sinks, a large soaking tub and a glass enclosed shower. There are shutters over the bathtub that open into the bedroom which allows for the outside light to filter in while you soak the day away.
The 2nd bedroom upstairs has 2 twin beds.
The 3rd bedroom is located on the bottom floor and has a queen bed.
Please note that the bottom floor of our townhouse is actually the second floor of a building with NO elevator.
We have our own spacious laundry room with washer and dryer, and just about everything that you often want in the comfort of your own home.
We have coded entry, so you don’t need to bother with keys. A new and secure code is created specifically for you when you come, and it will expire at checkout time.
Our townhouse is in the Coconut Grove section of the community, near the tennis court, and the basketball half-court.
Parking: 20G has one compact car garage (where we store 4 bicycles and our beach gear) and one reserved parking space outside. There are also open visitor parking spaces within 50 yards of the front door.
Beach gears & Bikes: Our family visits the condo often and we try and stock it with all the usual beach house amenities. We are more than happy to share with you and all our guests what we have. Truth be told, occasionally things do get misplaced or damaged. We do our best to replace them as often and as soon as we can, but regrettably, we cannot guarantee the availability and/or functionality of these amenities as part of the rental agreement.
HALI’I KAI DESCRIPTION
Built on 29 acres of securely gated manicured landscape, Hali’i Kai is a Premier condo community in Waikoloa Beach Resort and is the only one that is truly oceanfront.
The list of amenities is long, but Hali’i Kai is probably best known for its private Ocean Club Pavilion. Come and see the children’s wading pool, dig your feet in the sand-bottom Jacuzzi, relax in the multi-level lagoon-style black-bottom pool, enjoy the poolside meals, snacks, and cocktails served by the Ocean Club Grill & Bar, a restaurant that is exclusive to the residents and guests of Hali’i Kai.
Work out in the oceanfront clifftop fitness cabana while enjoying the island breeze and the spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean.
From this Ocean Club, you can observe dolphins frolicking year-round, and humpback whales splashing up close offshore during the months of December through April (sometimes as early as October and November.) On this same clifftop, the sunset view is sublime and the sound of waves crashing against the lava rock is intoxicatingly soothing.
Note: Hali'i Kai buildings do not have elevators.
DESCRIPTION OF WAIKOLOA BEACH RESORT
Waikoloa Beach Resort is world-famous, and it offers just about everything that you would need to make your vacation extraordinary. There are two fabulous golf courses. The Hilton and Marriott are both within the resort and each has many things to offer.
There is no shortage of spa or restaurants, fine-dining or casual. Queen’s Marketplace and King’s shop offer the two largest shopping, dining, and entertainment experience on the Kohala coast. At the Queen’s Marketplace, you can find all your groceries and beverages. They even have a gourmet market where you can find meals that are ready made.
Behind the Marriott, you’ll find the Lava Lava Beach Club and Anaehoomalu Bay (better known as A-Bay), a beautiful crescent shaped public beach that offers many ocean sports for the whole family.
Within a few minutes' drive, you can enjoy the world-famous beaches such as Hapuna and Mauna Kea, or the less known and more secluded 69 Beach, a favorite of the local. The list of things to do are endless.
NO SMOKING: Our villa and Hali'i Kai community are strictly NON-SMOKING properties. “Smoking” means inhaling, exhaling, burning, vaping, or carrying any lighted cigar, cigarette, pipe or any other device containing any tobacco product, or any other leaf, weed, plant or other products. SMOKING IN ANY FORM IS PROHIBITED throughout the entire unit, including lanais / balconies and all common areas of the resort. There is NO exception, every smoking violation is an infraction subject to the current Hali'i Kai fine and substantial cleaning/deodorizing fees for our unit .
NO PET: PETS are NOT PERMITTED inside Hali'i Kai Resort and unit 20G under any conditions.
FURNITURE: Re-arranging the furniture is NOT permitted. We strongly urge that our guests NOT MOVING beds or furniture around. More importantly, we don't want our guests to get hurt in the process. Regrettably, due to a recent incident wherein significant damage occurred while guests were moving the twin beds on their own, we will no longer offer to convert the twin beds into a king. Damages and additional cleaners' fee will be charged to the credit card on file if rules are not followed. Thank you for your understanding.
SECURITY: For the security of our home and community, a video doorbell is installed at the front door.

The unit is a perfect place to relax and had all the amenities we could have hoped for. The grounds and pool area are also very nice and we definitely enjoyed returning there nightly after a day of adventures.
10/10 Posted Mar 9, 2023Home away from home. We really enjoyed our three weeks at the property. It was a great place from which to explore the island and come home to. The private residents only pool and restaurant area were so enjoyable. The Waikoloa area has so much too offer. We saw molten lava at Volcanoes National Park one day and snow on top of Mauna Kea the next. Great beaches. You can get day passes to the local resorts for a fee and the beach vendors were great. We just Love the Big Island and we will be back.

The Ocean Club is a great place to hang out, work out, (watch whales in the winter months) when you are not out enjoying the beaches and everything else Hawaii has to offer. Highly recommend!!! And I have to say, the food at the pool was beyond any expectation. So convenient and excellent value.
10/10 Posted Oct 6, 2022Fantastic location and property! Our family really enjoyed staying at Hali'i Kai 20G, it was our kids first trip to the Big Island and we brought their grandparents as well. Property was fantastic to base out of for pool, beach and road trips around the island. Well stocked kitchen allowed for easy mealtimes with kids. So many fun beach toys were also provided which was an extra plus! Owner was also very responsive when we had a bit of an issue with a bed on the first night, they got everything taken care of right away for us! We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Hawai'i! Mahalo :-)

Not only was Hannah friendly and helpful, she truly outdid herself with every aspect of the home. The fridge had many accommodations, we recieved a basket full of fresh fruit and treats, and everything was very neat and clean. The host, Hannah, communicated extremely well and was very responsive. She provided many helpful details and recommendations. The home was immaculate and very well stocked. I really appreciated this because it was so easy to prepare and eat meals in the home. The property and pool and poolside bar/cafe were gorgeous and delicious. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this place!
